Everyone's support for Soldier Front has meant a great deal to us. In return, we would like to thank those who stood out to us by returning a favor. We have chosen 20 members of the Soldier Front community to receive 10K SP to their Soldier Front account. These particular users are rewarded for their hard work in reporting countless users for their abusive behavior. We're sorry we can not reward everyone but we hope that you will still continue to report abusive users to make this community strong, safe and fun.

Soldier Front Custom Map Event

We have a very special event for everyone.

Have you ever wanted to play in a map you helped design? Now’s your chance. Participate in the Soldier Front Custom Map Event and help create the map you’ve always wanted. This is your opportunity to give ideas for a new map in Soldier Front. The top 5 participants will be selected by ijji.com and the ijji community will vote for the best map design. The theme is American Locations. This could be any location from landmarks in your town to places you hang out with your friends or even your neighborhood. Be creative and have fun with it.

Event Schedule
Submission Starts: March 30th, 2007
Submission Ends: April 5th, 2007 12AM (PDT)
Poll Vote Starts: April 6th, 2007 7PM (PDT)
Poll Vote Ends: April 9th, 2007 12PM (PDT)
Winner Announcement: April 9th 3PM (PDT)

How to participate:
Within the event period, take pictures of a location you would like to see in a new map for Soldier Front. Then send five or more pictures of the location you chose to soldierfront_event@ijji.com.

How to win:
ijji.com will select the top 5 locations they feel will fit the new map best. The Soldier Front community will then vote for their favorite to determine the winner. All other participants will receive consolation prizes.

Prizes:
The winner of the event will have their codename displayed on the map loading screen, and will also receive a bonus of 65K SP.

2nd Prize: 35K SP

3rd - 5th Prize: 20K SP

Official Rules for Soldier Front Events

NO PURCHASE NECESSARY TO ENTER THIS EVENT.

This Soldier Front Event is sponsored by NHN USA, Inc., 800 West El Camino Real, Suite 350, Mountain View, CA 94040. This event is governed by these official rules. By participating in the event, each entrant agrees to these official rules, including all eligibility requirements, and understands that the results of the event are final in all respects. The event is subject to all federal, state and local laws and regulations and is void where prohibited by law.

ELIGIBILITY: You must have a connection to the internet and an e-mail account prior to the first date of this event. The event is open to all ijji.com users who are residents of Canada and the United States. All entrants must be at least 13 years old or older to participate. Void wherever restricted, taxed or prohibited by law. Employees of NHN USA and its affiliates, its dealers, its advertising and promotional agencies, in judging organization, manufacturers or distributors of the event materials and their immediate families in the same household are not eligible. NHN USA Corporation reserves the right to verify the eligibility of each winner.

PROMOTION PERIOD:
Event Period: March 30th to April 9th
Event Gift distribution day: April 10th

HOW TO ENTER:
To enter, a user must submit at least five pictures with an accompanying description of a new, original map idea. Images should be in .JPEG or .GIF file format so that they may be posted to and easily viewed on the ijji.com web site. Images and descriptions must be submitted to soldierfront_event@ijji.com to qualify. Users may submit only one idea so think out your idea thoroughly. NHN USA will review each of the entries and choose the top 5. Choices will be based on originality, image and description quality, and suitability of content in relation to Soldier Front. Winning qualifications may change at any time and will be up to NHN USA to determine. Users whose entries are chosen as winners will receive a prize. One entry will also be chosen by poll, voted by the Soldier Front community, to be used as the design for a future map to be used in Soldier Front. By entering this event, users retain copyright of their designs and authorize NHN USA to create, use, and distribute, these ideas. All submitted materials, including all relevant images and descriptions, become property of NHN USA.

ijji.com may disqualify any user if ijji.com, in its sole discretion, discovers any abuse or misconduct on the part of said user in connection with this event. NHN USA reserves the right to change the rules for this event at any time and without notice.

PRIZES:
GRAND PRIZE: The winner will have their codename displayed on the map loading screen, and will also receive a bonus of 65K SP.

LIMITATION OF LIABILITY: Any and all disputes, claims and causes of action arising out of or connected with this event, or any prizes awarded, shall be resolved individually, without resort to any form of class action, and exclusively by arbitration. NHN USA reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to cancel or suspend any part or all of this event should virus, bugs, non-authorized human intervention or other causes beyond the control of the sponsor corrupt or impair the administration, security, fairness or proper play of the event. In such case, NHN USA may award prizes in a random drawing from all eligible entries received up to the date of cancellation or suspension. NHN USA and its promotion and advertising agencies are not responsible for technical, hardware, software or telephone failures of any kind, lost or unavailable network connections, fraud, incomplete, garbled or delayed computer transmissions whether caused by the NHN USA, users or by any of the equipment or programming associated with or utilized in the promotion or by any technical or human error which may occur in the processing of submissions which may damage a user's system or limit a participant's ability to participate in the promotion. NHN USA may prohibit an entrant from participating in the event or winning a prize if, in its sole discretion, it determines that said entrant is attempting to undermine the legitimate operation of the event by cheating, hacking, deception, or other unfair playing practices (including the use of automated quick entry programs), or intending to annoy, abuse, threaten or harass any other entrants or Sponsor representatives.

Soldier Front Opening

Hello Soldier Front users,

We will open Soldier Front today at 4PM. The rollback will be set to Wednesday, March 28th, 6AM (PDT)

The schedule for this temporary service will be Monday - Wednesday, 3PM - 11PM (PDT).

This build contains the fixes for the following:
- Nerve Gas Ceiling fix
- Full Screen Lobby
- Alt-Tab Notification message
- Various Hack fixes


There are a few known issues in this current build that you should know about.

1. If you received the following error "Please try again", you will not be able to log in temporarily. We are currently working on this issue.

2. If you can not log in and received an error other than "Please try again". Please attempt to log in a few more times. You will eventually get in.

3. After exiting your game, you will have to refresh your browser in order to see the Soldier Front page again.

4. Some users playing Soldier Front using dual monitors may have issues with a black line on the right of your screen. This does not affect your game play.
